Our New Building

The New Suite of Halls - opened on 4th September 2010 by the President of the Methodist Church in Ireland, the Rev. Paul Kingston

Introduction

A new day dawns in the life of Carrickfergus Methodist Church (well, it did on the 4th September when, after almost 2 years of construction, our new building was opened by the President, the Rev Paul Kingston). It really is a beautiful building, even if we do say so ourselves, and that is a testament to the hard work that was put in by a lot of people during those 2 years, and especially in the last few months. However, we are now starting to make use of it, and trying to figure out the best way of using all the wonderful new facilities that we now have.

Where and when we worship

Our Sunday morning worship is at the following times:-

11:00 am
7:00 pm

and we can be found at the following address:-

1 Albert Road
Carrickfergus
BT38 8AA

(See the map below for a better idea, although it actually depicts Irish Gate as the location of the church - the moral is, never trust a map over what you can see with your own eyes)

If you're coming from Belfast - head out the main Shore Road (A2), until you get to the roundabout near the Castle (our best known feature), and then turn left - the church should be in view, about 100 yards ahead of you on the right.

If you're coming from Larne, again take the A2, until you get to the roundabout, but this time turn right.

Stop Press - Most of the organisations have now finished their activities for the summer (to let their leaders have a well-earned rest) so the normal weekly timetable will be looking rather sparse.
