Introduction

A new day dawns in the life of Carrickfergus Methodist Church (well, it did on the 4th September 2010 when, after almost 2 years of construction, our new building was opened by our then President, the Rev Paul Kingston). We have been blessed with a really beautiful building, (even if we do say so ourselves), and that is testament to the hard work that was put in by a lot of people in the decade prior to our re-build and especially during those 2 years of construction.

We are a busy congregation and are doing our utmost to make use of the tremendous facilities that we now have.

When and where we worship

Our Sunday worship (morning and evening) is at the following times:-

11:00 am

7:00 pm

and you will find us at the following location:-

1 Albert Road

Carrickfergus

BT38 8AA

(See the map below for a better idea, although it actually depicts Irish Gate as the location of the church - the moral is, never trust a map over what you can see with your own eyes!)

If you're coming from Belfast - you will come into Carrickfergus along the main Shore Road (A2). After passing McDonalds you will encounter the roundabout with Sainsburys to your right/PaPa Browns to your left and the Castle ahead of you. Simply turn left at this roundabout - and the church should be in view, about 200 yards ahead of you on the right.

If you're coming to Carrickfergus from Larne, you will again come through the town on the main A2. After passing the Castle you'll encounter the same roundabout, but from this side you'll need to turn right.
